I Shall Call My Bed Comfy, and It Shall Be Mine

Beds are an amazing invention. I mean honestly though, how many years of  sleeping on straw or the cold, hard ground did it take for someone to realize that they need to make something better? But really, beds are great. And what's even better is owning a bed, one that you can call yours and that you get to sleep on exclusively. I missed my old bed while I was away, but now that I'm back I'm so happy and comfortable.

Thinking about bed history makes me wonder what things people tried to make beds out of. After how many other materials did it take for someone to come up with springs. I wonder if anyone thought of using bananas: they can be soft. I would sleep on a banana. Now I want to try sleeping on one. I need a banana.
