This is Art

I don't understand art, or at least modern art for that matter. I totally get the classic style where you needed to be skilled to be able to actually make something clear and recognizable, but some art today is just weird. Like, what does it even mean? Is it supposed to have a meaning? I have no idea why people thing lines on a canvas are so cool, and then pay millions to hang it on their wall. I could do that. I just haven't. But honestly, I'm sure that if a monkey did something like that it would be worth even more money. I mean look at the elephants that paint: people think that's pretty cool. Maybe I should drop out of school and be an artist. It's definitely a fool-proof plan.

Speaking of dropping out of college, I'd have to wait until next fall to do it, since school has already ended. It's less dramatic to stop during the summer and just never return. I need to be there for people to appreciate me and then leave them. Although I'd still have to pay some tuition, so maybe I'll just show up like I'm in class and then leave. That would work. But I'm definitely glad I'm done with finals, because now I have more time to eat bananas. Once I'm done writing this, I have time to eat a banana. I just have to get one. I need a banana.
